“The hotel’s historic charm and beautiful architecture are complemented by a new spa, outdoor pool, and jacuzzi. After a challenging hike, the sauna was the perfect place to relax and recharge before heading to the bar for dinner. We had a wonderful waitress who made the experience even more enjoyable. Although the food took quite a while to arrive, we were entertained by the cheerful atmosphere and the lively conversations of guests from all over the world. Nothing here feels modern or rushed—and that is exactly the charm. This is a place to disconnect from the fast pace of everyday life, slow down, and simply enjoy the surroundings, the history, and the company.”

“Really unique lodge on the upper side of a mountain. The entrance itself is so grand and there’s even a small historical museum inside. The food is amazing there’s so many options, plenty of parking. Helpful staff that are very accommodating. Plenty of outdoor activity to do while staying, there’s a rec center type building next to it with rentals for camping, skiing, hiking and biking. Highly recommend visiting here if you don’t stay, you can always dine here without staying in the resort lodge.”

“We finished a section of the PCT with two nights at the lodge. It is a beautiful and majestic building reminiscent of a yesteryear. The staff at every turn were so help and accommodating, going out of their way to meet any need or request. Wyatt and Monica were especially delightful. It was even arranged for Erica, a massage therapist to come give each of us a massage in the comfort of our room. She was very good in working out the soreness and tension that comes with high mileage days and in creating a soothing atmosphere. We highly recommended her. Hot tub, pool, sauna, washing machine and drier were all so nice. Beautiful views and comfortable bedding.”
