Live PreView vs hotel photos and virtual tours
Hotel photos and virtual tours are a great starting point. A Live PreView adds a real-time look you direct yourself, where it's supported.
Hotel photos and virtual tours
- Professionally shot images of rooms, pools and common areas
- Virtual tours that let you look around at your own pace
- Available any time, with no request needed
- Usually chosen and staged by the hotel, and may have been taken some time ago
A live, buyer-directed viewing
- Real-time video of the location as it is right now
- You ask to see what matters to you, like the view, the pool area or the street outside
- You can ask questions as you watch
- Helps you compare what you see with the photos you've already reviewed
Limitations of a live viewing
- A person may not be able to enter private areas such as specific guest rooms.
- Video quality depends on lighting, the device and the connection.
- A live view shows what the person on the other end chooses or is able to show; it is not an expert inspection or appraisal.
- It does not guarantee condition, authenticity, availability or that you'll be satisfied with a purchase.
Availability
Live PreView is only available where an Explorer is available at or near the location. PreView does not guarantee that a live viewing will be available for every hotel or request.
